Weekend Winnings....

This weekend, we made lots and lots progress. Here is an update...

cabinet pulls
one whole row finished. our cabinets were made by vance's cousins jeff and richard frederick. i LOVE them!

shower faucets. they have a feature called tempassure...i think. anyway, you can set the temp you want your water to turn on every time, so the kids always have the right temp. even if we're not right there.

bathtub faucets. they are GORGEOUS! i am so glad i got the hand sprayer too. i cleaned the tub out with it and it was worth every penny!

this is what the kid's and 1/2 bath faucets look like.

lauren, vance, and i sanded the log. then lauren and I varnished. it looks really good. glad it's done though!

the log railing is in. corin was vance's right hand man! it looks pretty awesome too.

another angle.

a really cool picture of emma's chandelier. colby took it. i had to include it.
the hardwood floor is 1/2 finished. it's looking pretty awesome. mike helped lay it too.
a big thanks to lauren who sanded and varnished the stairs. what a big, nasty job. also, to corin, who helped vance before i got there. only a true friend would do that!
our scheduled move in date is the 22nd. we were shooting for the 15th, but decided not to make ourselves miserable rushing around.
this week, the carpet is being installed monday and tuesday. countertops come in on wed. and we still need more toilets installed along with a few plumbing touchups.
happy monday!

Every thing looks so good. It'll be nice to be in for Thanksgiving. Let us know how we can help with the move. I'm pretty worthless but Steve's a good heavy lifter.
