HELP!
We need help. We are not eligible for AT&T DSL where we are moving. Does anyone have any info on other options? I know Amee and Shonya live out in the country and have internet. What do you guys have?

Cable? If you can't get it from the phone company or the cable company, there are satellite hookups (like DirectTV only it's high-speed internet).
NEMR has internet. I wouldn't call that a recomendation b/c they generaly suck but they will probably provide you service. We are in the same boat at our house. They are our only option for phone and internet. Darn country living really messes with the high tech life.
NEMR can't get you high speed in Lancaster...i've already checked. they only offer dial-up. mom is switching to a higher speed through some company..can't remember who exactly but she said she checked and they can serve them way out there so you might call her. Mike knows of a couple other companies...maybe a little higher but i'll have him e-mail you.
Mark Twain through Tri-County is what I had before DSL, but I am not sure what they are now! Shonya has it and will be able to tell you. It is totally better than NEMR......no comparison there, but you will hate it compared to DSL...sorry! Anita has a wonderful idea, I would check on that first before the Mark Twain!
I have Mark Twain DSL. It works pretty well and they are good about coming to fix probles that I have. Good luck.
Yup, Cindy's right, we have marktwain. I like it a lot, but then I went from dial up nemr to this, so it seems awesome to me! :) It's only $30 per month, and they are really good about fixing things when there are problems. Need the phone no? 423-5211

cable is good but it tends to be very expensive...just be forewarned. if its your only option then that's one story but we payed a lot more for it than dsl.
