1000 Words Thursday!

Cheaper Than Therapy

sweet girl!

My daughter....the prayer warrior. Miss Lynne, her prayer mentor, made her a prayer wrap. She sleeps with it every night and always needs it near by to say her prayers. Last night, Emma asked to be baptized. Vance and I, among others are praying and discussing this HUGE move. She truly understands why she would like to be baptized and loves God as much as her 5 year old heart will allow. She knows more than many adults and her joy in God's love is amazing.

(what a high ride)!

Colby and his hero....Dad! My husband came on Friday to show off his job. He is a lineman and showed my 1st grade class the "fun" stuff of his job. He climbed a pole, took a ride in the bucket truck, and displayed his cool tools. Colby was grinning from ear to ear as his father talked!

Emma-you know we're always saying how amazing her faith is for someone so young, but lets face it that faith is amazing at any age. I really do think she knows what it means. Good luck with that decision I'll be praying for you.
Colby-I just love how much he admires his dad. I can just imagine his face as Vance was talking in class.
These are great pictures thanks for sharing.

Cute!!! I would be happy with another little girl, but I would love to have a little boy to share his daddy's interest.

We would all be better off if we loved God as much as our five year old hearts would allow.

I will be praying! Around the time that I got saved and was in the process of being baptized, my church split. I didn't loose faith in God, but I lost my faith in the church....which sent me on the wrong path. Here I am at 32 and I finally got baptized last year. I am on God's path again and I know that I really appreciate it more now that I am an adult. She and your family will be in my prayers! Thanks for coming by my blog!!!

I love hearing about great Dad role models - all you ever hear about are the yucky stories... Look at how proud dad and son are? Priceless.
