Emma is too short to touch, so the lifeguard lets her hang on her back.
She learning to glide. You can see her little hands pointed together under the water and she's getting ready to take the plunge.
Colby smiling at the praise his lifeguard is giving him.
Perfecting the back stroke. Colby's teacher is very meticulous at his instruction, but I'm glad Colby knows exactly what to do.
It doesn't look like much progress, but the guys did a lot of measuring and little stuff yesterday. The two things, that I could show you they did was put up the dummy rafter on the right and built the dormer in Emma's room. I'm excited about that. I think we'll put a window seat in there. It's 5 ft wide, 8 ft tall, and I can't remember how deep it is.

poor emma...will she ever get big? what a shrimpy!
colby looks like he's having a really good time...i really like that picture for some reason..it really shows 'him'--no goofy smile, etc...a rare glimpse into his true boyhood!
i certainly agree with you jenn. sometimes the best pictures are when they don't know you are taking one. boys at this age seem to think everytime there is a camera out they have to make some dorky looking face.
