Let the chaos begin....

Saturday dawned hot and humid. My kids were with Bree and Jared, so I got to sleep in! I did a lot of laundry and cooked lunch for all of us...Shaws included. Then we....o.k Vance...saddled up the two ponies, rode them both, and loaded them in the trailer. We drove to Queen City for the big Pioneer Days parade.
Emma and Braylon caught and gathered a TON of candy.

The boys rode their ponies through the parade. Both ponies behaved very well.

After the parade, Lady gave Levi and Kaitlyn their very first pony rides. They loved it!

Then we went to the youth auction. Emma got her fingers pinched....which went well with the black eye she already has...see Bree's blog for details:) Vance bought a calf and Bree bought a hog. We put both animals in the trailer with two ponies. What a zoo!

Emma has deemed the calf hers and calls him Hoss. What a day!
