On Wednesday, when the guys were working on the porch, we were all working...o.k. they were working...and up flew a hummingbird. I have tried and tried to get them at our house now and my mother-in-law has bought me many feeders, but they have never found us. I decided if they wanted to visit at the new house, I would put out the welcome mat...so here it is. Our first decoration at the new house!

funny...i can never get hummingbirds in iowa but when we lived in the second apartment in kirksville i had a feeder & had lots all the time right in that tiny little deck area we had!
the sky looks really pretty in the background.
Steve and I are to lazy to fil our feeder. Those hummingbirds will eat you out of house and home. Got to the point were we had to fill it like every other day. Which doesn't sound like a lot but I repeat I'm lazy. We still have some faithful birds that cruse by and test it everyonce in awhile.
