Have time to plan your parents a 30th anniversary party? They will not want a formal la dee dah affair. Just some burgers on the grill, good company, and lawn chairs. Therefore, it needs to be an evening thing. Sooo....
Do we have it the 22nd, might be the weekend I'm moving.
The 29th, the weekend of Thanksgiving.
Or, the 6th, Jenn's due date!
Ahhh....their anniversary is the 25th.
We're thinking, an IOU, for some later date....

Sounds like they will have a memorable anniversary with you moving into your new house and Jenn's baby.....I think the IOU would be okay with them!
i say do it later. they will completely understand!
I say wait until Jenn has the baby. It will be fun for them to have their new grandbaby there to show off anyway.
I'm a bad one to ask. I missed two of Mom and Dad's good years for a party and my big brother died unexpectedly (in February). It will never be the same if we do it later. We can never get him back as part of the party. It is heartbreaking. So my vote would be: find a way to make it work. Combine it with Thanksgiving if you have to. Get a cake with it on there and cut it with dessert... wait, you said later date, didn't you? Well, see how crazy I got? You're fine. Silly me.
